Career & Technical Education (CTE) Scholarship
The Rio Grande Valley Builders Association and Professional Women in Building Council are proudly partnered with local RGV school districts to promote student success and industry growth. RGVBA CTE Scholarship award recipients have elected to continue their education in CTE fields of study and are learning the skills needed to build our future.
Scholarship Application & Eligibility Requirements
The Rio Grande Valley Builders Association’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) Scholarship will award $500 scholarships to graduating seniors who have successfully completed a minimum of three credits in a CTE program of study and meet the other application criteria listed below.
Eligibility Requirements
• Student must have a minimum current GPA of 85%
• Student must be an active Career & Technical Education Program participant
Application Requirements
• Complete the RGVBA CTE Scholarship Application
• Complete the CTE Program Participation Survey
• Submit a Student Essay
• Submit an Official Copy of your High School Transcript
Disbursement Requirements
The scholarship award will be disbursed upon providing proof of enrollment into any post-secondary institution.
Graduating high school seniors who are enrolled in a post-secondary institution for related homebuilding industry fields in the upcoming school year are welcome to apply for the RGVBA CTE Scholarship.
