GOVERNANCE
The PWB Council will follow and be subject to current by-laws adopted by the RGVBA.
The PWB Council is an official NAHB-chartered council under the Rio Grande Valley Builders Association. A paid RGVBA membership in good standing is required to join the PWB Council. Any employee of an RGVBA member company may join the PWB Council upon registering and paying $150 in annual dues.
RGVBA dues are not the same as PWB Council dues, and membership for each is billed separately.
The National Association of Home Builders and RGVBA each recognize one full year of PWB Council membership.
• NAHB recognizes PWB Council membership beginning on the first day of the month following your membership payment. If you pay for your membership in mid-March, your membership record will become effective in the NAHB database on April 1st.
• The RGVBA PWB Council will immediately recognize your council membership upon payment, and you will be added to our email lists and invited to participate in upcoming events as a member.
Your $150 PWB Council membership dues are split between NAHB and the RGVBA PWB Council for your dual membership.
• $50 of council dues are sent to NAHB to facilitate the creation of your NAHB PWB Member Account.
• $50 of your council dues are used to purchase your local member merchandise, which you will be able to wear to RGVBA / PWB member events to represent your membership with the PWB Council.
• $50 of your council dues remain with the PWB Council to facilitate council events and programs.
You may contact the RGVBA office to learn more about how membership dues are used at [email protected] or 956-686-2932.
