Heaviest Redfish
First, second and third place prizes will be given out to the teams with the heaviest red.
The maximum allowed size will be drawn at the Captains Meeting the day before the tournament.
Heaviest Trout
First, second and third place prizes will be given out to the teams with the heaviest trout.
The maximum allowed size will be drawn at the Captains Meeting the day before the tournament.
Heaviest Flounder
First, second and third place prizes will be given out to the teams with the heaviest trout.
No size restriction applies.
Calcutta - Redfish with the most Spots
First and second place prizes will be given out to the teams who catch a redfish with the most spots within the legal-size limit.
Participation in Calcutta categories is optional.
Calcutta - Heaviest Stringer
First and second place prizes will be given out to the teams with the heaviest stringer.
You will be allowed to enter one redfish, one trout and one flounder - all within the legal-size limit. Two of the three species must be entered to qualify.
Participation in Calcutta categories is optional.
Registration Overview
Anyone can compete -- you do not have to be a member of the Rio Grande Valley Builders Association.
Base team registration is $600 and does not include boat charter or captain fee.
You can choose to participate in the Calcutta categories now or at the Captains Meeting on the day before the tournament. If you choose to participate after registering, you must pay for Calcutta category participation with cash at the Captains Meeting.
A team may be comprised of 4 members -- one captain and three anglers. Pro anglers may compete in the Open Division and count as one team member.
All anglers will receive goodie bags, appetizers at the Captains Meeting and two (2) drink tickets each.
The team captain must attend the Captains Meeting prior to the tournament to witness size drawings.

Ready to Register?
Anyone may compete in the Open Division.
RGVBA Membership is not required to compete in the Open Division.
80% of the Open Division entry fees will be paid out.
RGVBA Members may compete in the Members-Only Division.
