Heaviest Redfish

First, second and third place prizes will be given out to the teams with the heaviest red up to 28 inches.

You will be allowed to enter one redfish, one trout and one flounder. Two of the three species must be entered to qualify. All fish must be within the legal-size limit.

Calcutta

Redfish with the most Spots

Prize will be given out to the team who catches a redfish with the most spots within the legal-size limit.

Participation in Calcutta categories is optional.

First, second and third place prizes will be given out. The maximum allowed sizes will be drawn at the Captains Meeting the day before the tournament.

Registration Overview

Anyone can compete -- you do not have to be a member of the Rio Grande Valley Builders Association.
Base team registration is $600 and does not include boat charter or captain fee.
You can choose to participate in the Calcutta categories now or at the Captains Meeting on the day before the tournament. If you choose to participate after registering, you must pay for Calcutta category participation with cash at the Captains Meeting.
A team may be comprised of 4 members -- one captain and three anglers.
All anglers will receive goodie bags, appetizers at the Captains Meeting and two (2) drink tickets each.
The team captain must attend the Captains Meeting prior to the tournament to witness size drawings.
